He is the ultimate multi-instrumentalist, expertly playing as many instruments as you can cram onto the stage. His anecdotes are legion and his knowledge of folk song and folk lore tremendous. His powerful voice fills the room with anthems, ballads, and love songs, primarily but not exclusively, traditional. You really want to say you have seen Pete perform before he retires and, if you have seen him, you know you need to be there.
